Full-Time: Shipping & Receiving Clerk

Micamy Design Studio specializes in Residential and Commercial Interior Design, along with Furniture, Fixtures and Accessories/Artwork (FF&A) Procurement. We are a fast-growing, ever-evolving company seeking a team-oriented professional who takes pride in serving others, solving problems, and working in a variety of environments.

Position Overview
We are looking for a Shipping & Receiving Clerk who is customer-focused, physically capable, and detail-oriented. This role requires handling shipments, assembling furniture, and maintaining an organized, safe warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

·         Receive, open, inspect, and assemble all incoming shipments with precision

·         Safely move and store furniture in designated warehouse areas

·         Enter product details into our inventory system

·         Dispose of packaging materials (cardboard, Styrofoam, etc.)

·         Assemble furniture and fixtures using hand and power tools

·         Deliver samples to designers

·         Pull and prepare furniture for upcoming projects with 100% accuracy

·         Palletize items for shipment and delivery

·         Maintain a clean and organized warehouse, inside and out

·         Assist with returns, report damages & show initiative to resolve issues

·         Support furniture deliveries when needed

·         Daily open and closing tasks

Physical Requirements

·         Ability to frequently lift, push, pull, and carry items weighing 100+ lbs

·         Comfortable walking, standing, bending, and reaching for most of the workday

·         Able to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions

Schedule

·         Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM

·         10 paid holidays + floating birthday off

Qualifications

·         2+ years of furniture delivery or moving experience

·         Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

·         Experience with pallet jacks, dollies, and other moving equipment

·         Professional appearance and demeanor

·         Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work independently or in a team

·         Excellent time management and organizational skills

·         U.S. citizenship and fluency in English

·         Knowledge of safe lifting and handling practices
