It’s that time of the week again! We are kicking off the first #TileTuesday of February with a brand new project we just completed. While this project has many other great design aspects we will share with you later on the blog, the social restrooms at the Beacon Lake Clubhouse are tile goals from head to toe.
We selected a marble honed pinwheel mosaic tile for the floors, which gave the space depth and dimension. This timeless tile continued the elegance throughout the entire clubhouse.
PRO TIP:
When selecting grout, always go with a dark color in a commercial application. No matter how seamless you think white might look, it will always discolor from wear and tear.
For the walls of the restroom, we chose a simple white subway tile to add texture, but didn’t want to distract from the floors and vanity decorative tiles.
CONSISTENCY IS KEY
To keep the look consistent we used the same dark grout on the walls for a cohesive, contrasting look.
Lastly, we wanted the vanities to make a statement. This stunning bow-tie mosaic from Mir Mosaic says it all.
