We’re almost halfway through the year and have so many beautiful projects coming to a close that we can’t wait to share. Today we’re revealing the WaterSong at RiverTown clubhouse amenity, which consists of a bar, tavern, party room, an expansive porch with a resort-style pool. WaterSong is an age-exclusive neighborhood that serves the active adult community within RiverTown.
EXTERIOR
The master-planned community of RiverTown is located along a stretch of the serene St. Johns River and is conveniently located near a growing list of necessities. Mattamy Homes designed the WaterSong neighborhood to embody a “Flowco”, Florida low country, aesthetic.
The exterior of entrance of the clubhouse has an expansive wrap around porch with beautifully stained wood beams and doors. We added a few lounge chairs and gas fire-pits towards the left side of the clubhouse, overlooking the view of a man made pond.

As you enter the clubhouse, you are greeted by an open hallway pulling you through to the back porch overlooking the pool. We provided a custom banquette next to a built-in coffee bar for resident’s to sit and wait for friends or loved ones.
TAVERN
Resident’s seeking a more comfortable area can find a small seating group with views to TV’s, the billiards table and a glimpse of the porch dining area. Our intent with this sitting group was for intimate conversations or cozying up with a good book.
We wanted the Tavern to have a variety of seating options in order to keep the space as flexible as possible. Across from the lounge area, we provided counter height pub tables for resident’s who may be in the middle of a billiards match or watching a sporting event on TV.

As you make your way towards the bar, we provided a secondary lounge sitting group that is more flexible than the other. These large swivel arm chairs can be used to watch the TV’s above or turn and catch the billiards match going on behind with ease.
We felt that the design of the bar needed to stand out within the room and give the resident’s the sense that they had their very own private sports bar. The overhead structural component made it possible to provide more viewing access to the TV’s above and provide electrical to the decorate pendants below. On the underside of the structure, mirrored antique glass reflects the liveliness of the comradery around the bar.
the porch & pool deck
The expansive wrap around porch we mentioned above has a variety of seating options. Resident’s can find dining tables, Adirondack rocking chairs and lounge seating. Finally, we selected the sling of the chaise lounge chairs to compliment the blue exterior paint paired with a sandy metal finish.
