Hi friends and happy #TileTuesday! Today I am extra stoked to be writing about this project because it is my ONE YEAR anniversary with Micamy Design Studio. The Clay Theatre was the first project I had a hand in working alongside our amazing team and it was incredible to watch it come to life over the last year.

The design for this bar needed to set the elegant mood for the The Clay Theatre as it is located at the main entry. From the floor tile, to the bar tile, to the back splash we spent hours detailing this room to give the space a luxurious custom feel.
The detail of the two tiles at the face of the bar was tricky. Michele (Director of Micamy Design Studio) and I went back and forth playing around with the pattern and scale. Ultimately we settled on a herringbone glass tile broken up with a square Art Deco accent tile. The square tile is by Stone Impressions - Aurum Quad and the herringbone glass tile is Studio C - Glisten Glass Herringbone.
