BARBADOS MODEL REVEAL PT 1
We’d like to introduce our Barbados Model! We actually completed this model home back in March of 2018, but wanted to show off this beautiful home with a photo tour. This model home is next to our Trinidad Model (click here to read blog post), and has a similar design aesthetic: coastal. However, we wanted this home to have a more elevated feel. The color palette consists of light greens and blues with pops of gold to warm up the space.
Upon entering the home you’re greeted by this long foyer with an elongated coffered ceiling. We used three beautiful pendant lights to line the foyer and draw your eye into the space. The blank wall in the entrance was a perfect spot for this cute moment below.

As you continue down the foyer you’ll find a long bench, which is a great place to set down bags or kick off your shoes.
Directly off the foyer is the guest bedroom with it’s own ensuite bathroom. We love incorporating the guest room at the front of the home so your guest can feel like they have their own wing to themselves.
This formal dining room is definitely the “wow” factor of this home. We have the horizontal trim going all the way around the room and then all the way up into the second story, which really accentuates this vaulted space.
The mudroom is behind the dining room and has painted white brick to match the media wall in the living room. The mudroom opens up to a large pantry that doubles as a laundry room.

The first thing you’ll notice about this living room is the tongue and groove ceiling that we painted a gorgeous blue color, which carries into the kitchen. We imagined a family with two older children lived in this home so we kept the living room a little more formal.

The kitchen opens up to the living room and can be accessed through the mudroom. We love how large this island is - it’s great for large family gatherings!
The Owner’s Suite is a space where you can truly escape. We included a morning bar with a mini fridge, as well as his and hers walk-in closets. You’d never want to leave this space - it has everything you need.
The room is spacious enough to even include your own seating group! We chose two chairs and ottomans as a place to put shoes on or cozy up and read a book.
The Owner’s bath consists of an expansive, frame-less walk-in shower to give the home owner’s a spa like feel in their very own bathroom.
