We are super busy this week over at the studio, but between deadlines and installs we always try to make time to see new products. Our vendors are very attentive to our crazy schedules and make time to sit with us over coffee or lunch to show us what’s hot on the market. As February comes to an end, we have already seen some stunning new trends emerging in 2019 that we wanted to share with you on this weeks #TileTuesday post.
RELIEF TILE
Earlier this month our wonderful rep Shirley from Tile Market San Marco hosted a few designers to view Pratt and Larson’s newest line. If you don’t already know Pratt & Larson has been making handcrafted tile since 1982 and their products continue to catch our attention. This new series, the InLine, is apart of their Bas Relief collection. The most intriguing feature about the InLine series is that it can be completely customized. InLine consists of 12 different 3x6 styles allowing designers to create a pattern as simple or as complex as desired. We absolutely loved the charcoal colored monochrome glass they had a sample of at the show room. Which color is your favorite?
PICKET TILE
We mentioned in a previous blog post that Crossville hosted a Lunch & Learn at our studio to show us all of their latest and greatest products for 2019. Another new line that was revealed to us was their Handwritten ceramic wall tile. This product is absolutely fabulous and comes in many different shapes and sizes but the one that really caught our eye was the 3x6 Picket tile.
CONCRETE [PORCELAIN] TILE
While concrete tile may not be new to 2019, achieving the effect for a lower price definitely is! Our rep over at Daltile presented us with this new collection by Marazzi called D_Segni. These beautiful tiles look like Italian hand painted cement but are actually porcelain. We were very excited to learn about this product for it fits into the budgets much better than the real deal. We cannot wait to use it in an upcoming clubhouse so stay tuned to see it in one of our projects!
